
At Chantek Batik, we take pride in the quality and uniqueness of our handmade products.
Every piece is carefully described and photographed as accurately as possible. However, due to the handcrafted nature of our garments, slight variations in size, color, or design may occur.
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact us via WhatsApp at +60 12-935 0633 within 14 days of receiving your item(s).
Once your return or exchange request is approved, the parcel must be shipped back using a reliable courier service with tracking.
Please do not send any item back before receiving approval from our team. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

When contacting us, please provide the following information:
• Your name
• Order number / receipt number
• Reason for return or exchange
• A clear photo of the product
Our team will review your request and respond as soon as possible.
📄 Return Conditions
To be eligible for return or exchange:
• Items must be returned in new and unused condition
• Original packaging and clothing labels must remain attached
• Items must not be washed, worn, altered, or damaged
• Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the order
Chantek Batik reserves the right to decline any return or exchange that does not meet the conditions stated above.
✅ When Replacement or Refund Is Provided
If the return is due to our error, such as a wrong item or defective product:
• Chantek Batik will cover the shipping cost for sending the replacement
• A replacement will be provided if stock is available
• If the item is out of stock, we will offer:
A similar item of equal value, or
A full refund
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved replacement or refund requests will be processed within 3–7 working days.
🔁 Returns for Other Reasons
For returns that are not due to our error, such as wrong size, change of mind, or gift returns:
• Customers are responsible for all shipping costs
• This includes return postage and exchange shipping
• Postage fees are non-refundable
• Please use a reliable courier service with tracking, as customers are responsible for ensuring the parcel arrives safely
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved store credit or exchange requests will be processed within 1–7 working days.
🧾 Store Credit Policy
If you choose a refund for a return that is not due to our error, the refund will be issued as store credit.
• Store credit will equal the purchase price minus exchange shipping cost
• Exchange shipping cost: RM8 for West Malaysia, RM15 for East Malaysia
• The shipping fee will be deducted from the store credit amount
• Store credit orders are entitled to one-time free shipping on the next purchase
Example:
If your returned item is RM199 and the exchange shipping cost is RM8, your store credit amount will be RM191.
If your next order does not meet the free shipping minimum, please contact us and we will assist manually.
Important:
• There are strictly NO CASH REFUNDS for returns due to reasons such as wrong size, change of mind, or gift returns
• Only one return per order is allowed
• Purchases made using store credit are not eligible for return or exchange, even if additional payment is made
🚫 Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless the item received is defective or incorrect:
• Sale or clearance items
• Promotional or discounted items
• Altered items
• Made-to-measure or customised items
• Items purchased using store credit
• Items without original tags or packaging
🚫 Items / Situations Not Considered Defects
The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are not eligible for return or exchange:
• Damage caused by mishandling, such as cuts from scissors or sharp objects
• Damage caused by improper washing methods
• Color bleeding caused by mixing dark and light garments during washing
• Soaking garments for long periods
• Fading after 14 days due to washing or exposure to sunlight
• Uneven dye distribution or shading typical of handmade batik
• Minor misalignment or print irregularities from hand-blocked techniques
🧵 Handcrafted Batik Variation
Each Chantek Batik piece is handcrafted using traditional batik techniques, making every garment unique.
Due to the handmade process, slight variations in color, motif placement, pattern details, dye distribution, or texture may occur compared to the product photos displayed on our website.
These variations reflect the authenticity and artistry of handcrafted batik and are considered part of the product’s natural characteristics. Therefore, they are not considered defects and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
